Hi guys,
I’m just after a little info if possible please before I jump into the removal of this conservatory roof.
Hopefully from the photos attached you can see the internal construction of the conservatory.
One piece plastic roof with moulded in support strips.
Externally there is guttering that seems to be moulded as part of the roof.
The surface of the external roof looks to have be botch-repaired a few times with bitumen tape and painted over with bitumen based paint.
I can’t see any fixtures or fittings that would hold the roof onto the window frame, I can’t see any ring beam or any other support around the the top of the windows.
Now I know that this must be fastened on somehow and if some one has had experience of something similar this info would be great fully received.
We intend on keeping the windows in place and replacing the roof with a wooden trusses.
Thanks for the help.
Jamie
