Conservatory blinds

Internal conservatory blinds presumably reflect heat back onto the window? If so is there a risk that the double glazing will be damaged by excessive heat? I ask because although external blinds would stop the sun from penetrating but they would be unsightly and very costly.

I don't think internal blinds do anything regarding heat.
The glass gets incredibley hot, so hot you can't touch it in some cases. Blinds won't stop that

Thanks Wayne's but I was concerned at the glass getting even hotter if the blinds reflected it back.
