I'm going to be turning my veranda into a conservatory. Will be building stud walls with painted/sealed plywood sheets on the exterior sides. I need to cover these plywood sheets with something waterproof and nice looking. What do you guys suggest?

Some options that I've come up with:

1. Composite/plastic cladding (so long as it looks like dark wood).
2. Waterproof laminate flooring stuck on the walls.
3. Vinyl/Lino stuck on the walls.

Will I run into any problems installing these? I need the cheapest and best looking solution and definitely not going to use real wood as it rots too fast and buying high quality nice looking wood + coating it is simply too expensive.

This is an alternative to PVC tarpaulin which I was quoted £600 for (excluding the sides!) - which is absolutely insane and figured I might as well build up a real wall instead since I have wood lying around.

Also anyone know what to do with the windows? Am thinking of just buying thick clear acrylic sheet and using that?

Cheers.

instead of plywood sheets, why not use OSB boards.

Then on the outside, screw on tile battens vertically, then fit rendaboard -12mm board. its designed to be rendered of course, but I guess you could just paint it.
