I have put in roofing , as was not sure what other forum to use , and its like facia / soffit trim fixing - please move if wrong

I have a conservatory which butts up to a brickwall - been up over 25years i guess

they have put a bit of white plastic trim down the side , which is fine
something like
https://www.screwfix.com/p/rothley-...2LI5i5W9PxgPgxMGWysaAgJLEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Its siliconed and sealed very well at the wall side
BUT the bit on the plastic conservator is all coming away - so i pulled a bit of the silicon and it all came off
No i have to redo , otherwise rain water is going to get in easy now,,,,, should have left alone , till ready to do.

Simple job , I have some CT1 - so i put a bead down and expected just to push the trim onto it and it stay there - BUT its not staying flat, pulls out around 5-10mm

so i need something to fix and hold it in place
like a contact adhesive
- tried a bit of plastic glue - they use in kits , and left for 10mins to get tacky , pushed together and it just pulled apart

Anything maybe like gripfix / stick

I have used the Sticks like Sh*t before, and was not very impressed

which will be an instant fix , like Bostic contact adhesive , where you put on to the 2 parts allowed to get tacky and pushed together and then are stuck.

Then i can put a bead down the edge of CT1

Maybe i need to take the whole thing off , clean it all up and start again.

I have CT1 , and Hyppo Pro3 and various other mastics / fillers etc
But they dont hold the plastic together

I cannot clamp any of it either , as its on the corner return of a Wall and then conservatory plastic frame

Thanks

Plastic - plastic is often two part glued (mitre glue) together. It will not budge if you do it this way.

Thanks noseall
i do have some mitre glue, problem is getting the 2 part into the hole - otherwise i'm going to pull it all off anyway

Why not just fill the gap with decent white silicon and forget pushing it flush. From the pic it doesn't look at though it's sticking out that much?

Hi. Bend or break the last 10 mm of a ice lolly stick , so it stays intact not break apart , so it looks L shape Put glue on the small part and run it behind the trim from bottom to top .... then spray the trim and other surface well with the activator spray and hold for about 30- 60 seconds and that should be that , but as diy fun said ,there is no reason you can’t just seal it with white mastic . Good luck
