I am installing a ceiling fan in my conservatory but the roof strengthening bars are in the way. Does anyone know exactly what there for? The conservatory is a P shaped & has a very ridged valley on one side. I just can't see what difference these bars are going to make can I take them off? Cheers, Tunny[/img]

I'm no expert but I think you will find that the bars are actually stopping the weight of the roof from pushing your side panels out.
