conservatory roof

hi all

were in the process of building a wooden type conseratory to the back of the house,just for the kids to play in when its raining,anyway not sure what type of roof to use and how to join the roof to the back of the brickwork on the rear of the house to stop water running down the back between the back of the house and roof of our conservatory any one got any good siloutions on what type of roofing to use and something to make it water proof were it joins the back of the house would be appreciated

Usually conservatories have polycarb sheets or the like on, so I'd start looking there. Where the lean-to reaches the brickwork of the existing house, you want to use lead - raked into the brickwork, then down and over the sheets. Google for leadwork, its a top edge abutment your going to do.
