I had a large conservatory built almost 10 years ago and every year almost, the windows at the top fail. The rubber seals push downwards and look like they sag.
It is a big conservatory with a polycarbonate roof which leans towards the house. There is no supporting bars in the roof inside so it might be that the roof is too big and heavy so is crushing these top windows somewhat.
For the first 5 years under warranty they replaced the failed windows but now they won't as warranty has run out. Is there something I can do myself to fix these windows?
I am a D.I.Y disaster most of the time but I'll give anything a try! I might need to sell this house in the near future and don't want a potential buyer to see these failed windows and not buy as a result. It was a cheap conservatory and I just wanted a big space to work out in, but it looks like it might now start costing me more.
Any help would be appreciated. LOL I really need it ! ! !
