Hi there, I have a first floor flat so all on same level and have an old Ideal boiler from early 80's which works fine before you all say:p

System is in-direct, gravity fed, 2 tanks in loft which I presume are cold water tank and F&E tank.

A few weeks ago there was an air in bathroom rad, i bled it and it was fine, then it returned a few days later.

The same happens with the hallway rad, bleed it and it comes back.

However it doesn't happen in mine or lodgers Rads so god knows?

How can I get rid of the excess air, where can it possibly be coming from?

Ben

His Son might know ...ask him next week ;) It`s probably a system design fault , I`m afraid . or maybe air entering on suction side of pump ...are there any marks around pump unions where water seeps out when it`s not running
