I was looking at another house and noticed the control panel (end station) was located in the downstairs loo with the RKP in the hall. All well and good. I seem to remember in the old BS4737 that an intruder shoukd not be able to gain access to the control panel without activating the alarm.
I would presume this to be the RKP but does it also cover the end station?
I wondered as there is a contact on the front door but no PIR in the hall and in theory an intruder could come through the loo window (unlikely as it may be) to gain access to either RKP or end station - landing, kitchen and lounge are all covered. A risk assessment probably thought it un-necessary
