I have a texecome premier elite system (with a zone expanded) and have a couple of questions please:

- do the zones on the panel (including the expander) correspond with the zones shown in engineer mode? I’ve spent a lot of time labelling the cables going into the panel which I guess was important initially but now superfluous?

- if I am disconnecting a zone from the panel to carry out some maintenance (probably 4 weeks), do I need to remove this zone from the keypad too? Will it cause any issues when using the system?

Thanks in advance.

It’s either a keypad zone on the keypad or on the panel ….it can’t be both ….but you can map a keypad zone to a zone on the panel

Aha, in hindsight, I should have matched the keypad zone to the zones on the panel. The. I know which zone has which physical cable.

Also, now that I’ve removed a device from the zone, my alarm arming fails. Presumably this zone needs to be disabled/removed? Can you please advise on how this can be done.
