I'm looking to DIY some solar panels on my roof. Whilst there is scaffolding is it worth converting my ridge to a dry version? Any pros or cons to fitting a dry ridge? Is it the preferred method these days?
I will be moving tiles close to the ridge so may potentially disturb it a bit.
Anything else I should do whilst the scaffolding is up? Going to check the aerial and chimney pointing! Soffits and facia are new with eaves boards installed. There is a hole in some felt which I will try and patch.
Also does anyone have span tables that include 47x73 (approx.) timber? I have spans of 1.3m. Hopefully within tolerance and will take some extra weight?
Thanks....
