convert 110mm to 150mm pipe centres for mixer shower

My plumber fitted a 100mm mixer valve for the shower. Now want to replace with a thermostatic valve and most seem to be 150mm pipe centres. Is there an easy way to convert 110 to 150 without having to replumb the whole thing?

alter the pipes.
you haven't got to rip the whole lot out.
