I have the above Codec error when trying to run a movie clip , how do i set up my pc to run this clip ???

By the way i "saved" VLC should i have "run" when i first downloaded it ??

The file you downloaded should have been the installer file.

Either find where the file downloaded to, and double click on it, following through the install procedure or download again and click run rather than save.

VLC has most codecs built in so should be able to play your file.

you can also load the file into gspot and it will tell you what codecs you need: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/gspot.cfm
