Hi there peeps! Hope someone can help.. I've recently moved into a rented property. Kitchen has Belling gas cooker (4 hobs, oven & grill). On inspection it seems the separate cooker circuit has been closed and a 13A plug has been put on the cooker. Is this safe??

Cheers 4 post - this is my 1st response.
I'm a novice at this forum & even more of a novice when it comes to electrics.
I'm also a Single Mum & my Son has Special Needs - I think only a fool would ignore Regs. I would rather avoid a potential fire/electric shock hazard!

Sounds fair to me too.
- The cooker supply will have been for an electric cooker.
- Most gas cookers and even some elec ovens us a 13amp plug.

No reason to applogise for asking a perfectly reasonable quesion.
Good luck with the new house and with you son.
