cooker connection unit

Hi
i fitted the cooker connection unit directly behind the double oven housing unit.
now the double oven is not fitting in. its hitting something on the back, so sticking out by 20mm at the front.

can the Cooker connection unit be fitted directly behind the oven in the tower housing unit? or should i have fitted in somewhere down below away from the oven?

Obviously it should be fitted where it won't foul the back of the appliance.

Why have you cut the back of the cabinet away?

thats the panel before the back board that has been cut. the electrician placed the ccu there.

they are sometime fitted in a cupboard next to the cooker to prevent this fouling.
But have a look at the rear of your cooker and see what the best place to move it is
