Cooker extraction hood

Hi All,

There is probably no definitive answer to this, but how far off the ground do you reckon a chimney cooker should go ??

We have just had a new kitchen fitted and the fitter has put the hood about 5ft from the ground. Now I am no Jack the Giant but this seems a little low.

Any ideas ??

hi if its going over a gas hob it will tell you the lowest height in the insruction book of the hob over electric hobs you are lookin at 760mm from hob
