Hi all,
I had a new kitchen fitted about 2 years ago and rather than connecting the ducting to the hood before fixing the hood to the wall, the fitter screwed the hood to the wall and tried connecting the ducting to the hood at the end.
The problem is that there is very little space at the top of the hood for the ducting to connected to the hood and the fittings are very tight as well. So by the look of it, the fitted just stuck it on with duct tape and left.
Now every so often, if the hood is switched on, the tape unsticks and the ducting shoots off at the top.
Is there any easy way to get that ducting on to the hood without taking it all down first?
