Cooker Hood Connection

Can the connection to power a cooker hood be taken as a spur off the supply side of 45amp cooker switch and plug socket using 2.5mm T&E? The switch/socket in question is on 6mm T&E straight from the CU.

No - use 6mm² to go from the CCU to a switched FCU, 3A fuse, then 1.0mm² or 1.5mm² to the cooker hood.
