Cooker Hood - Model INTX60SV from Screwfix -The micro switch that switches it on/off when you pull the lid / canopy out has failed. Luckily the switch has failed "on" so the cooker hood still works and we are using the manual switches.

Anybody solved this problem ? I had a look under the cover and the micro switch is mounted on a little board and has definitely failed as pressing the button with a flat screwdriver there is no click.

thanks

Assuming there are no warranties involved here, but I'd have a go replacing that microswitch if you can handle a soldering iron.
Google V5 microswitch and you should find something suitable.
John :)

Thanks for your support -closer examination of my other photos show it's a 10T85 U type, just ordered one.
