cooker hood

just a quick one .i'm putting in a new oven and want to put a new cooker/extracter hood above it,should this be wired to the ring main of a 3amp fused outlet or can i wire it of the cooker radial circuit and whats the best way to hide the cable from view?

As the appliance is separate from the cooker, it should be wired on the ring main, with an appropriate fuse (if it comes with a plug, see what fuse is in the plug, or if it doesn't, see the manual). So yes, you should wire it into an FCU on the ring main.
