cooker tripping

Hello all , can you help , my son just moved from a flat to a house the cooker was working ok in the flat but on wireing up in the house a problem has developed where by its ok with the clock is on but as soon as he trys to use grill or oven / hob it trips out , the wireing is fairly new so on the usumption that its ok what could have been disturbed on the cooker !! many thanks for any replys .. mark

Check the connections on the cooker and cooker outlet as they can cause problems if loose/badly connected

Otherwise a wire knocked loose during the move
 
It is not uncommon for a cooker to trip an RCD, because of earth leakage in the element, which is what you may have protecting the cooker cct in the the new location. If checks of the cooker prove it is ok, call an electrician in to look at the supply.

Thanks for your interest all , just to let you know it was a slightly loose wire in the wall terminal (socket) all is fine know cheers .
