hi guys coild you clear up 2 things before my acs mclarky

flue not slealed outside = ar what about inside not sealed but outside bricked up?

is extractor ventilation ok for cookers. cant see it corgi book but have a heard from a an engineer that its ok???

What exactly do you mean by extractor ventilation.
Room must have an openable window and then depending on the volume of the room or whether it has a door opening direct to outside determines what size vent if any is req . But the vent is to let air in as opposed to extracing it so

flue not sealed on inside but sealed outside i would say NCS as the POC cannot re-enter the room, i think you are confusing yourself with the extractor issue, a flueless appliance requires an openable window or equivalent ( never liked that term as it has been confirmed that a 19mm plastic overflow pipe to outside will be acceptable as a form of permanent opening as there is no min cm2 Free Air dimension recorded) and also a permanent gas approved vent depending on room volume, if the room has an extractor of any sort it COULD have an adverse effect on the appliance working properly, re check the books i think before you go and good luck

reason why im asking about a a mechanical extractor fan as sufficient is because i have a technical article direct from corgi website about this issue. and it says as long as room has mechanical extraction thats ok!! its just not listed in the book. i guess its because extraction fan will have vent to outside. confusing

If your on about tech bulletin 184 this is in reference to cookers that are in kitchens that have become internal rooms and need minimum extraction rates for fumes and condensation etc but still need adequate ventilation provided for combustion
