Hi
Wonder if anyone can help.
We are currently refitting our kitchen ourselves, and in the process we want to relocate our rangemaster double oven range style cooker to the other side of the kitchen, some 4.5 metres away. Is this a possibility taking the wiring this far from the original control unit - ? is it safe to do so, if so how ? can we do it ourselves to save much needed cash for our budget. Obviously we know not to 'play' with electrics, hence asking your advice to see if this is able to be done by is or not.
The house is on a 30amp circuit, and so adding anything else to it seems near on impossible.
The control unit to the cooker is of the older style with the red on/off rocker switch and single socket. As it is the cooker itself is already on a length of about 2 metres and was like this upon us installing the upgraded double oven as above, about 5 years ago.
If anyone would be kind enough to advise the DIY possibilities of running the cabling - or how we can do it by using a prof. electrition if thats the only way.
Any help much appreciated
Jon
