Coopers 722r remote fobs- just eat batteries and eat the fobs!
I have now 2 fobs that have died on me - tried new batteries. The one and only last fob works and emits a led light when the fob buttons are pushed. The dead fobs-I have tried new batteries and they will not light up the led.
These fobs have always been a bit erratic in the battery life and operation.
At £30 plus its a bit expensive.
Is their a prob with them-both have died just after the warranty period expires-sods law.
Any suggestions/tips/advice appreciated

1, do you sit on them. Battery life is approx a year with two uses a day.
2, Did you put the batteries back in the right way up, some do, just asking.

They last about 3 months-I have tried different makes and they are installed correct. polarity.
The voltage measures about 3.3 V on initial set up-the system message panel comes up with a low TCLMD battery level after about 3 months. Now yet another one does not work after draining the battery.
Wonder if its a common fault with the fobs?
