Westminster decided to "drop" this talking shop on Glasgow. and were even magnanimous enough to give the host countries first minister a "bit part" to host a secondary "event"
Westminster told attending [probably the 3,000] delegates on the [then] Red list who would have to isolate that the Westminster Government would pick up the accommodation costs [because of Covid self isolation requirements] and organise the hotels[what ever] then the Westminster government "relaxed" the requirements around the Red lists [Etc] but, and this is the kicker ??? failed to organise the promised accommodation for the attendees who were un aware of the lack of a designated hotel [what ever] and left to flounder about looking for a place to lay their heads at night.
I have been in various areas of Glasgow on several occasions in the past week, I must have missed all that "Piled High" rubbish, unless it is all around the COP Venue?? but you cannot get near enough to see???
The rail strike went away on Wednesday night, typical "old school" union brinkmanship.
Unfortunately Rats are in clear presence in all cities, even around Westminster.

There is on the COP site an array of PV which was supposed to Power the COP, it was installed but it was discovered that this impressive [looking] array was not up to the challenge.
The Organizers had to revert to conventional generators.
They looked at the costings around so called green Gennies but binned that idea the Green ones were binned as being too costly??
That to me says all there is to say about COP
