Here's a similar one for the Dremel via Amazon

The one in that picture is for the Rockwell Sonicrafter - RW8917 Sonisaw Coping Saw Attachment universal fit - not sure of a supplier just yet

yes it will be a lot more useful that way but because it oscillates perhaps 3-5mm round the arc the outer edges will be progresively wider cut like a pendulum action but in two directions because when the left edge rises the right edge drops and visa versa

I agree coping saw is a poor description,

LOL ... check the description in the thread title.

Well its a blade in some sort of holder.

From the blurb

"The RW8917 Coping Saw Attachment turns the Sonic rafter into a power coping saw allowing for detailed cutting and sanding in wood or plastic. The coping saw attachment is part of the universal fit system which allows it to work on other brands. All blades offer 2-1/2-Inch cutting width. There are four blades included, (2) Spiral blades for cutting or coping in any direction, (1) Straight blade for general use cutting, and (1) Carbide blade for detailed sanding.
