Foe some reason the builder of our estate has used small copper tanks the size of a toilet cistern for the F&E tank of the central heating.
The tanks are located in the airing cupboard above the hot water cylinder (which is pressurised hot water).
Is there any reason why they used copper or did they just get a good deal and wanted to use them?
