I’m wondering if there are any problems with using push fit fittings and copper pipe that has been stamped as in photo. Could these engravings on the copper pipe allow tiny amount of water to pass through? I might be getting paranoid but they did not use to stamp the pipes. I bought this from Screwfix I’ll see if Selco’s copper pipe is any different.

No it won’t, and you’re being paranoid. It’s been stamped for as long as I can remember, approx 18 years.

As above stop worrying.
My time in this God forsaken business goes back 55 years and copper has always been marked.
In fact if you have a warranty claim (pinhole or similar) the manufacturer would need to see a section of pipe long enough to have there marking on it.
