Copper Ridge

Hi
Has any one got any experiance of these copper Ridge.
It is used to stop lichen,algae and moss growing on the roof permanently.

Do you mean cooper ,as complete ridge dressed as lead as a roll top .
Or do you mean fixing a cooper strip to the top of your existing ridge ??

According to the leaflet it is copper fitted over the ridge tile

The essayist way to do it is to use cooper earth wire fixed to both sides of the ridge just drill and plug screws into the ridge and rap cooper wire around the screw to clip to the cooper wire run .
You should run along one side and then up and over the ridge and back down the other side and then down to a earth rod in the ground in one continues run .
It takes about 1.5/2 years to work but works well and gets rid of moss/lichen/algae of course you have to take the plastic of the wire and its better to be safe with the earth rod .

If you have round shaped ridge then sill run the wire from one end to the other and back but on top of the ridge .if you have Angled ridge the on both sides
