I hope not, there's enough forums to try and look at as it is. If its CORGI, it shouldn't be of much intrest to the general population, and some other site like gas-news would be more relevant to professionals.
I do completely understand your logic in that thinking oilman, there is nothing worse that talking to a bunch of CORGI engineers (I avoid them like the plague) I pitty my poor wife because she has to live with one.
I just thought that some form of contact between those that are Registered would be good to pick each others brains about things that would bore the general population. There are things that come in my working life that I would like to ask someone that may have more knowledge than me in a particular aspect of Gas.
