Thank you. Misterhelpful. I am starting to remove all the caulk. Before I put the corner tape on the joint, I need to prepare the surface. Can I use easy fill to fill up the joint on plaster board or do I have to use plaster powder mix? Thank you.

That would depend on the size of the joint, I tend to double tape larger than normal gaps, but some gaps do need a little more filling. Easyfill is not really far patching up large gaps, better to use bonding coat or joint filler.
Thank you PrenticeBoyofDerry. I will use Gyproc joint filler as one joint has a wider gap than normal. Once I have finished all the work, I will post the result. As I had been researching on you tube trying to figure out what to do. I hope this time I will do it right and do not have to do it all over again.
