Corolla verso central locking fault

We have a 2003 toyota corolla verso which has developed a fault with the
Central locking
Upon unlocking the car,it locks itself again straight away,and it then sounds like its trying to lock/unlock reapeatedly
At the moment I've pulled the fuse and unlock manually,but I'd like to get it working as it should
Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

1st thing i would do is to check for broken wires in the door gaitors,CHECK carefully and if needed use a multi meter to check,just because the outer sleeves look ok doesnt mean there isnt a break.

start by liberally lubricating all the door latches, open and close the doors as you do this. Sounds like a door actuator isnt switching correctly.
