Hi,
I've a deal with my wife to finish tiling over my X-Mas break, so your early help will be highly appreciated here :)

I've bought 30 sq metres of following floor tiles (galaxy granite):
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-m2-gala...tchen_KitchenFurniture_EH&hash=item2eccc0ca25

The tiling is going on part old concrete floor and part new concrete (screed floor under new extension).

I went about to buy some adhesive but I was told conflicting views. Someone at B&Q advised to buy expensive flexible bag that needs mixing with water (not ready mixed). Someone else told me to just get normal floor tile adhesive.

Can someone please advise the correct one and a good place to buy it from..

Many thanks in advance..

Thanks for you reply PrenticeBoyofDerry.

Any idea how much does this bag cost for 20kg grey?

Also why would I need flexible? Its going on concrete (ground floor), not floor boards on upper floors..
Flexible adhesive seems to be quite more expensive than normal..

This one says Porcelain, would this work with granite:

I get trade prices for adhesive but a 20kg of rapidset would be about £25-£30
Mapei and Weber products are generally good.
As the substrate is concrete, you would get away without a flexible bond.
I wouldn't bother with unibond.

Bal flexi all the way much better spending a wee bit more on good adhesive than a batch of new tiles when anything go,s wrong using cheap adhesive better to pay couple extra quid than £900 for new tiles to replace , if you contact bal directly they can send out some one to speck the job ,main worry for me would be wat type screed u covering and how long it been down and that it's completely dry
