My son has a 2013 Corsa 1.0 that won’t start.
He bought it off my daughter and while she had it the timing chain was becoming noisy when the car was started.
He went to start it over the weekend and it would turn but not fire up. I checked and it has fuel and a spark so I took the top off and looked at the chain which is a bit loose.
With the plugs out I could turn the crank pully by hand, not easily but not massively hard.
Do you think the loose chain could have slipped and put the timing out?
