Council concrete canopy needs support or no?

The concrete canopy goes all the way across the front of my house. Does the double glazing need to support it with bay poles or is it a cantilever and it won't be pressing down on the windows?

Is the window currently affected by the weight of the canopy?

The canopy is also supported by the pillar on the other side of the door.
