Crack in front door showing through again

Time and time again I have sanded, filled and painted this door crack in the panel of our mahogany wooden door and yet again is has reappeared after just a month.

I have used the best paints Fortress trade undercoat and primer (outside and indoor) , Dulux Weathershield and the filler is Everbuild multipurpose wood outside and indoor use. All giving excellent reviews. And yet they have all failed. Why oh why can't a simple crack in a door stay put ?

Probably because of movement. Does the wooden panel flex slightly, thus opening the crack?

Hi there, Had a similar problem with similar back door a while back. Eventually I found a similar door at the tip which cost me all of £8. End of problem! You can sometimes fnd them at reclaim yards too.

Maybe inlay metal brace to prevent cracking.
