Working on my chimney recess, I have removed part of the screed because it felt hollow when tapping on it and there was a crack. I have now discovered there is a crack on the concrete itself, it's a small crack of about 6" long by the wall' The concrete is levelled and rock hard but one side feels fine when tapping on it when the other side feels a bit hollow in a small area. The surrounding area is intact. Should I be concerned for the fact that a small part of it feels a bit hollow?
