Looking for advise. We have small cracks on our brickwork and wonder what would have caused these and if they are simple to fix. They are under a downstairs window.

Judging by the width of the crack, it looks as though the top lefthand bit of the house is drifting away from the rest. So how bad is the crack at the top of the house, the brickwork often parts at end of a window lintel?

the cracks are just what are in the picture. the thicker brickwork going across the top of the picture from left to right (past centre) is the window sill. The crack is underneath 2 bricks down from the window sill and is about 1mm wide going down the side of one brick and underneath one brick

Time and again, people put pics up showing a close up of a crack; if there were pics taken from further back as well, folk would get the bigger picture, and you may get more response.
On the right of the pic, is that a wall coming off at 90 deg? Is it a later extension?
