this is a pic of my wall. I've stripped the paper off to find chipped gloss paint underneath. what's the best way to deal with this if I want to paint the walls?
To get that wall ready to accept paint is going to involve a fair bit of graft, if I were you I would scrape off any loose stuff give it a good sanding and dust down, then size the wall with a thinned wallpaper past and line with 1200 grade linining paper.
