Cracked Paint

Hi,

My bathroom paint has cracked as shown in the photos . Any ideas why?

Any advice on the best way to prep surface for re painting? Walls are painted plasterboard

Looks like my bathroom in parts.

Cant say i know why but i've just polyfillar'd it all and then rubbed it down with sandpaper. This has made it a less of an eyesore and when i get round to painting it i'll let you know what it looks like.

Cant promise an answer soon though as its not near the top of the ladies list of jobs

What was on walls before you painted? Without any info it looks a classic case of wallpaper stripped and emulsion strait onto old paste.
Either line or coat all with a thinned solvent undercoat...then 2 coats emulsion again...
