Hi all,
Im looking for a bit of advice on my kitchen walls. I moved in last year and stripped off a load of old wallpaper and the walls weren't in a good shape. I used polyfilla / toupret and some joint compound to fill and smooth over holes, uneven areas, build up a few places etc. Then put a coat of Gardz on, then two coats of paint.
Now 5 months later I'm seeing these areas which sound hollow/loose when tapped. Thinking of chipping everything back then putting some PVA on (which I didn't do first time around), then patch plastering it. Then back on with some some sort of primer, then paint again?
Does that all sound about right?
Thanks for any advice you might be able to provide!
