Cracks on internal walls

Hi, wondering if anyone can advise on these cracks. On a rental property we have on both sides of an internal wall (bedroom and bathroom). Tenant says they’re 2mm wide at most. It’s a back to back terrace house. Our tenant has said the neighbours they back on to have been having a lot of work done in the past couple of weeks-dormer put in. Could this have caused this? Just cosmetic or something more?
Any advise appreciated!

You need pics from further back to see the context; close-ups of cracks don't give much indication of what's going on.
