Creaking Boards

One of my bedrooms which was built above an extension on the house, has been boarded through using tongue and groove loft boards ? These are creaking how xan I resolve this?

Take them up and glue them together.

Thank you for your advice. I did forget to mention that although they have been locked together they have also bern screwed to joists so do I understand the screws should be removed then just glue the panels and lay?

Correct they are supposed to be glued and screwed to avoid squeaking.
