Hello All,
I am in the process of buying a Victorian end terrace. It is set up with 3 good sized bedrooms but with a bathroom downstairs past the kithcen. We are wanting to create a new shower room upstairs (keeping the downstairs one too).
I basically have two options: Either split the back bedroom upstairs into 2 and fit a small shower room in there. This room is directly above the current bathroom so I understand it will be reasonably straight forward for a plumber to do.
Next option is split the front bedroom which is much larger and put the shower room in there. I have been told that due to waste and piping etc this is not possible unless I buy a macerator (?Saniplus?). This will obviously be more work and I would assume it will therefore be more expensive.
Ideally I would do the front room one as it is a bigger room and would mean I still had 3 good sized rooms.
Any advice, guidance or other ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
