Hey, my first post here
I've acquired a 39kg fire door which is the perfect size for a new desk! I just need some help figuring out how to create something to put it on to. I have some wood from a pine wardrobe (fairly thick wood) which I was thinking I could attach to 3 sides of the door to make a frame.
What would be the best way to attach the frame to the table. I was thinking some aluminium angles ( like these http://www.wickes.co.uk/Small-Sectional-MetalPVCu/Aluminium-Angle/invt/162679 ). Would that do it?
Any other tips how I could make it really stable?
edit: I don't care about aesthetic, just the cheapest way to build something to put the door on.
Thanks!
