Hi, i have a Creda Debonair Compact tumble dryer model 37305. It is a few decades old, but has worked fine until this week and it fits the space we have so don’t want to scrap it just yet.
When I rotate the timer knob to switch it on, there is a kind of buzzing noise but no rotation. Hot air flows fine though.
I’m hoping its just needing a belt. Can anyone help with procedure for this before I just remove all the screws.
The top and sides are all one piece. On the front there is a top panel housing the high-low rocker, and the timer/on/off rotating knob. At the bottom there are four screws on the plinth panel.
On the back there are a bunch of screws round the edges and some in the middle of the panel.
