Hoping someone out there can help. Having a new bathroom fitted visited every bathroom shop in the area eventually found a suite that me and the missus agreed on then found the importer had gone bust. We were trying to buy a "Yukka Trio" suite with the importer being "Plumbing Imports" in Thirsk. Does anyone know of another importer or a shop selling the suite that I am interested in?

The big risk of buying from a small importer is that they will not be there long enough to guarantee replacement parts in future.

Good point but OTOH none of the imported stuff can be found parts for aftermarket and most of the stuff is imported today.

Bring back the syphon flush. Just cut up an rubble sack and it's good for another 20 years.

Mind you, it is a good laugh.

Customer: My toilet is not flushing/overflowing, can you fix that?
Me: no problem.

C: How much?
Me: About £50 to repair the toilet and about £400 to remove tiles, cut hole in wall, repair hole in wall, plaster, tile, grout and paint if need be.

C:    Can't you repair it without destroying the wall?
Me: Only if you can show me how to get to the siphon.

Most decide they can live with a little drip in the pan.
