I am about to have my original 1930's steel-framed windows replaced. I believe they are original Crittals. Anybody know if there's any value in the old windows?
They are in generally very good condition, all closing and opening, with minimal distortion. Some are overpainted, but that's all and there's a couple of cracked pains.
My fitter's only suggestion is a salvage company who will sell them on second-hand, but pay very little.
