We started getting cloudy cold water a lot of the time about 4/5 weeks ago.
It seemed to go away for a few days, but them it came back.
It's not all the time, but quite often.
Running the cold tap in the kitchen mixer seems to run cold then warm then cold again.
I have to run it for 20/30 seconds before getting clear cold water.
The cloudyness is air, which I assumed was just coming into the system from Anglian Water.
However, the possible crossover makes me wonder if thats causing the cloudyness as well.
What's strange is the hot water isn't cloudy.
Can anyone offer an opinion as to whether it's a problem local to my local plumbing.
Is there a method for discovering where the crossover is?
The mixer tap in the kitchen is as least 4 years old.
We have a thermostatic mixer shower.
We have had the heating on a lot because of the cold spell.
Shower has been used at a higher temperature setting recently.
I've recently rolled out some loft insulation to 1/3 of the loft(not around pipes area though)
