Hello!

My garage floor isn't the best. It has brick built walls but on a concrete slab. I've no idea if a dpm was used when built.

Anyway it appears during winter mainly that one end of the garage floor gets very damp and if you leave anything on the floor it ends up rather wet on the surface touching the floor.

As you can see from the pics the concrete is quite crumbly. I'm looking to repair the hole and find a product that will stop the damp coming through and also bind the crumbling. Not an ideal fix but looking for a cheapish solution. Thanks.

Poorly laid and not deep enough. Could you manage with the floor relaid, say a couple or so inches higher, on top of the existing?

Unfortunately not no. It would do with redoing definitely but hoping to find a solution that will last a couple of years.
